University of Wisconsin - River Falls Foundation Scholarships2009-2010Welcome!Application Deadline 5pm (CST) February 2, 2009Each year, the UW-River Falls Foundation provides hundreds of scholarships to UW-River Falls students totaling close to $500,000. It’s time for you to consider applying for a scholarship for the 2009-10 academic year! There is a scholarship waiting for your application Many students believe they must have a terrific GPA or participated in lots of extracurricular activities to receive a scholarship. Not so! While those are important factors for many scholarships, it’s not true for all of them. Donors choose to make awards with a variety of criteria, including major, probable career, community involvement, permanent hometown or state residence, or financial need, to name just a few. So how do you start? Incoming freshmen, please go here (or select the Incoming Freshmen Scholarships link on the left side of this page) to find a UWRF scholarship for you. If you are a returning student, go to our Guidelines and Important information web page for all you need to know to apply. Scholarships within this website are managed by the UW-River Falls Foundation. We make every effort to ensure these scholarships are awarded to deserving UW-River Falls students through proper advertising, publication and selection.
