Diversity Scholarship:
Awarded to a first year student of African American, Hispanic, Native American, or Asian American descent who has demonstrated leadership ability and financial need. UW-RF Foundation Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial:
Awarded to students who demonstrate leadership on campus or in the community in diversity issues.
UW-RF Foundation Native American Scholarship:
Awarded to a Native American student who demonstrates leadership, high academic performance, and involvement in university activities.
Coballes and Vega Latino Scholarship:
Awarded to a Latino student who has completed one year in the teacher education program, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, and be the first of his or her family to have attended college. Student must submit an essay in either English or Spanish which provides information on his or her cultural, heritage, family background, reasons for considering education as a career, and a statement of the person's long term career goals.
First National Bank of River Falls - COMPASS Scholars Scholarship:
Recipients will be chosen from a group of incoming UW-RF Business students. Recipients must write a short essay, detailing reasons for studying business and potential future career goals. The recipient will have completed: the First National Bank of River Falls Employment Application, the short essay as described above and an application. Raphael and Marynia Farrell Scholarship:
Awarded to students who demonstrate leadership in one of the following organizations—African American Alliance, Asian American Student Association, Latino Student Association, or the Native American Council.
Promise Scholarship:
Awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior woman of Hmong heritage who shows promise through her scholarship and who has financial need.
Carrie Semenok Unity Scholarship:
Awarded to a student who demonstrates leadership in campus or in the community in diversity issues.
