Biotechnology (CAS)
BioDiagnostics Scholarship:
Awarded to one student with a Biotechnology major. Student must be a sophomore (30 credits) at the beginning of the semester for which the award is made. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given to academic excellence over financial need. The scholarship is renewable for three additional years if the student meets the following criteria: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, remain in the major and complete a minimum of 30 credits per year.
Biotechnology Annual Scholarship:
The scholarship(s) are to be awarded to students who have attained junior or senior status who are majoring in Biotechnology with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Applicants must be enrolled in a research project in Biology, Chemistry, Plant & Earth Science or Animal & Food Science or have completed an undergraduate research project in Biotechnology or are participating/completed an internship in Biotechnology. Consideration given for demonstrated financial need.
