All College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences Students:

Majors only need to fill out ONE application form: Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Scholarship.

Martin Abrahamsen Scholarship:
Awarded to students enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences. Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Winfield Solutions Scholarship:
Must be at least a sophomore with a minimum 2.0 GPA when applying.  Must be majoring in the college of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences and registered in CROP 270 or 370 or AGEC 270 or 370 in the summer semester.  Student must apply and be accepted for an Agriliance Croplan Genetics Summer Internship.

Stanley J. and Lois Atkinson Bednarczyk Scholarship:
Awarded to residents of Clark, Taylor, or Chippewa counties in WI, who have attained sophomore status at the time of application.

Abe Benson Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to an outstanding student in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences.

Archie J. Brovold Scholarship:
Awarded to a junior or senior who was a Buffalo County, Wisconsin resident at the time of graduation from high school and is pursuing a major in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences; however, freshmen and sophomore students will not be excluded from consideration.

CHS Foundation Scholarship:
Based upon scholastic achievement and leadership qualities, awarded to a full time junior or senior in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences with a demonstrated interest in agri-business.

Central Livestock Scholarship:
Awarded to a junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, is a resident of one of the following states: MN, WI, ND, SD, IA, with a major in Agriculture, and the student and/or family is a customer or member of the Central Livestock Association.

Farm Credit Wisconsin Continuing Student in Agriculture Scholarship:
Awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. Preference will be given to Wisconsin residents. However, it is not limited to Wisconsin residents. Preference will be given to students having some type of farm related background.

Norman L. Christianson Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a student pursuing a course of study that will prepare them for a career in the field of Agriculture or Agricultural Education. Must have attained junior or senior status and be in good academic standing. Preference will be given to a student who has graduated from a Wisconsin High School and resided, during that time, in the State of Wisconsin.

Mel H. Cohee Student Leader Conservation Scholarship :
Applicants must be members of the UW-RF Student Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society.  Before receiving the scholarship, the recipient must have membership in both the local and national Soil and Water conservation Societies.  Applicants' field of study must be in one of the following agriculture or natural resources programs: Ag Education, Conservation, Land Use Planning, Crop/Soil, Ag Business Ag Engineering Technology, Environmental Science or Agriculture Studies.  Recipients will be selected based on their overall involvement and interest in natural conservation.  Student must be a citizen of the USA and enrolled in the CAFES.  Receipt of the scholarship in a previous year shall not affect an applicant's eligibility to be a recipient in subsequent years.

The Richard J. and LaVerne M. Delorit Scholarship:
Awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled as a full-time student in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better, has demonstrated leadership abilities and/or involvement in campus student activities, community organizations and/or civic and service organizations.

James C. Dollahon Bequest:
Awarded to junior or senior in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences who is a U.S. citizen with a 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA. This scholarship is provided by the estate of a 1957 River Falls graduate who had the utmost respect for Dean J. C. Dollahon as a man and an educator.

James C. Dollahon Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a full time student in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicants should have demonstrated leadership abilities and/or involvement in campus student activities, community/civic/service organizations.

Irving W. Gerhardt Scholarship:
Awarded to a sophomore or junior with an agriculture or conservation major.

Indianhead Polled Hereford Association Scholarship:
Awarded to a student with a strong demonstrated interest in Polled Hereford cattle.

Wallace Henry Jerome Agriculture Annual Scholarship:
Awarded to a student majoring in the College of Agriculture , Food and Environmental Sciences with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The applicant should briefly explain the leadership positions and activities in high school, college and in the community in which he/she has been involved. The applicant should indicate how this involvement led the applicant to seek a major in CAFES. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Joseph N. & Margaret Johnson Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a deserving sophomore in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences.

Kuschel Ag Scholarship:
Awarded to majors with the following order of preference: Dairy Science, Ag Education, Production Agriculture.

W. F. Lusk Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a junior or senior in the agricultural sciences with a high scholastic average.

Wayne B. and Iva E. Martin Scholarship:
Awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior with a declared major in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences in an Agricultural related field or is following a Pre-Veterinary course of study.

John May, A. N. Johnson, and Dale Swenson Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to students majoring in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences.

Mark S. Murray Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a junior or senior majoring in Agriculture Education or Agricultural Studies with an emphasis in Journalism.

Mark C. Peters Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a student active in Alpha Gamma Rho or Block and Bridle with an active interest in the field of meat animal production and is a past or present member of FFA.

The Petersons Valley View Farm Annual Scholarship - Renewable
The student applying for renewal of the scholarship must remain enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences with a minimum GPA of 3.25 GPA.

Jan Radcliffe Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a U.S. citizen majoring in Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or Agriculture Studies with a GPA of 2.5 or higher with at least two semesters remaining.

Dr. Steven C. Ridley Food Safety and Food Microbiology Grant:
Students in undergraduate research and scholarly activity dealing with Food Safety and Food Microbiology or related disciplines with the aptitude and interest in Food Safety, Food Microbiology, and other related disciplines will be considered.

Gary E. Rohde CAFES Alumni Association Scholarship:
Awarded to students majoring in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. At least one of the awards should be given to a deserving sophomore.

Shawano County Farm Progress Scholarship:
Awarded to a resident of Shawano County, WI enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences at UW-RF, UW-Platteville, or the College of Agriculture & Life Science at UW-Madison, with a GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Richard J. Starkey Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a junior or senior from Pierce or Barron County, WI majoring in Plant and Earth Science or Animal Science who demonstrates financial need, is considered hard working, has an interest in the field of study, and demonstrates perseverance.

Thorvald and Wilma Thoreson Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a junior or senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to a student majoring in Ag Engineering. If a qualified candidate cannot be found, junior or senior Ag Education majors will be considered.

UW-RF Foundation Agricultural Scholarship:
Awarded to students majoring in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences.

Kenneth Wallin Cooperatives Scholarship:
Awarded to a student with demonstrated interest in cooperative organization or activities as evidenced by past experience or occupational goals.

Wisconsin Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers Scholarship:
Awarded to a sophomore or junior enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a Wisconsin resident. This scholarship will alternate between the UW-Madison, UW-River Falls, and UW-Platteville.

Wisconsin State Grange:
Awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior with at least 2 semesters remaining, with a minimum 2.75 GPA, who has a family or personal affiliation with the Grange.

Wanda “Mom” Ziegelman Leadership Scholarship:
Awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior in the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences and a member of Alpha Gamma Rho with at least two semesters remaining, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher who demonstrates leadership abilities through participation in agricultural organizations, and has made an overall contribution to Alpha Gamma Rho.

Greg and Donnette Wheelock Agriculture Scholarship:
Awarded to an incoming freshman or a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior standing undergraduate student enrolled in any field of study within the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.667 or higher, plan to continue his/her education at UW-River Falls, and have demonstrated financial need. In situations where finalists are considered equal, preference will be given to a Waseca County, Minnesota or Blue Earth County, Minnesota high school graduate.
