Biotechnology (CAFES)
CAFES majors only need to fill out ONE application form to be considered for all scholarships: CAFES Scholarship, UNLESS a specific application is listed with the scholarship.

BioDiagnostics Scholarship:
Awarded to one student with a Biotechnology major. Student must be a sophomore at the time of the first award. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference should be given to academic excellence over financial need. If the selection committee does not find a qualified sophomore for the award, an incoming freshman with a minimum ACT of 24 may be selected.
The scholarship is renewable for three additional years if the student meets the following criteria: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, remain in the major and complete a minimum of 30 credits per year.
Biotechnology Annual Scholarship:
The scholarship(s) are to be awarded to students who have attained junior or senior status who are majoring in Biotechnology with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Applicants must be enrolled in a research project in Biology, Chemistry, Plant & Earth Science or Animal & Food Science or have completed an undergraduate research project in Biotechnology or are participating/completed an internship in Biotechnology. Consideration given for demonstrated financial need.
Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association Scholarship :
Awarded to a junior or senior majoring in Agricultural Business, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Agricultural Studies, Biotechnology, Crops and Soils, Food Science and Technology, Horticulture or Marketing Communications. Student must be in good academic standing. Preference given to a student who has been personally involved or has immediate family members who are involved in the production and/or processing of cranberries as an agronomic crop. Please note in the biography section of your application if your family is involved in the production and/or processing of cranberries.
