ANIMAL AND FOOD SCIENCE

Biotechnology Annual Scholarship ( click here for information )

Dr. and Mrs. M. E. Ensminger Animal Science Scholarship:
Awarded to a student majoring in Animal Science.

Daniel G. Forsythe Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a student majoring in Animal Science. Preference will be given to a student who has an emphasis in Dairy Science.

Great Lakes Wool Growers Association Scholarship:
Awarded to a student with an interest in sheep or wool production pursuing a major in agriculture with at least 2 semesters remaining.

Dean Henderson Scholarship:
Awarded to a student majoring in Animal Science or Food Science and who has an interest in meat science. Preference will be given to junior or senior students.

North Central Cheese Industry Scholarship:
Awarded to a student with a demonstrated interest in Dairy & Cheese Technology, with a declared major or minor in Food Science who has completed at least 45 semester credits. Applicants with a 3.0 or above will be given preference.

Northwest Wisconsin Dairy Technology Society Scholarship:
The recipient shall have declared a major or minor in Food Science or Agricultural Engineering Technology. Preference will be given to a student with an expressed interest in food processing, food engineering, packaging systems and/or materials handling. The recipient shall be a resident of one of the following WI counties: Douglas, Bayfield, Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer, Polk, Barron, Rusk, St. Croix, Dunn, Chippewa, Clark, Pierce, Pepin, Eau Claire, Buffalo, Trempeleau or Jackson.

Northwestern Feed Manufacturer's Association Scholarship:
Awarded to juniors or seniors interested in the feed industry.

Dr. Steven C. Ridley Food Safety and Food Microbiology Grant:
Students in undergraduate research and scholarly activity dealing with Food Safety and Food Microbiology or related disciplines with the aptitude and interest in Food Safety, Food Microbiology, and other related disciplines will be considered.

George and Eleanor Timmerman Dairy Production Scholarship:
Awarded to a student with an emphasis in dairy production or farm management.

Wisconsin Livestock & Meat Council (WLMC) Scholarship:
Awarded to students who demonstrate interest in the animal sciences area, particularly in the production and processing of beef, pork, and lamb. Student may reapply for a WLMC scholarship and be considered to receive it more than one time.

Wisconsin Pork Producers Industry Scholarship:
Awarded to a student with a strong interest in the swine industry.
