Agricultural Economics
CAFES majors only need to fill out ONE application form to be considered for all scholarships: CAFES Scholarship.

Mel H. Cohee Student Leader Conservation Scholarship:
Applicants must be members of the UWRF Student Chapter of Soil and Water Conservation Society. Before receiving this scholarship, the recipient must have membership in both the local and national Soil and Water Conservation Societies. Applicants' field of study must be in one of the following agriculture or natural resources programs: Ag Education, Conservation, Land Use Planning, Crops/Soils, Ag Business Ag Engineering Technology, Environmental Science or Ag Studies. Recipients will be selected based on their overall involvement and interest in natural conservation. Student must be a citizen of the USA and enrolled in CAFES. Receipt of the scholarship in a previous year shall not affect an applicant's eligibility to be a recipient in subsequent years.
Kevin Dee Memorial Scholarship:
Funded by contributions from Mr. & Mrs. James Dee and friends of Kevin Dee, awarded to a student majoring in the Department of Agricultural Economics.
Department of Agricultural Economics Scholarship:
Awarded to an Agricultural business major. Must have a minimum sophomore standing at time of application. Must be active in student organizations and/or other extracurricular activities. This scholarship will not award for 2010-11.
Farm Credit Services of Wisconsin Scholarship:
Awarded to students majoring in the Department of Agricultural Economics.
Growmark, Inc. Scholarships:
Awarded to junior or senior students preparing for a career in some aspect of Agricultural Business. Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Recipient is expected to attend the Growmark Annual Meeting in August.
Francis J. and Lucille M. Haugh Agricultural Scholarship:
Awarded to students majoring in Agricultural Education or Agricultural Economics. Must be in good academic standing with preference for a 3.0 GPA or above. Must plan to continue his/her education at UW - River Falls.
Wallace Henry Jerome Agriculture Annual Scholarship:
Awarded to one student with an Agricultural Studies, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Crop and Soil Science, or Animal Science major. To qualify for this scholarship, the student must complete the essay section of the application, briefly explaining his/her leadership positions and activities in high school, college and in the community, and how this involvement led to an agriculture major. Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Student must be a first semester junior (60 credits completed) in the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is provided. Must be a U.S. citizen. The scholarship will be renewed, for spring semester of the junior year and again for the senior year, if the recipient remains eligible.
Jan Radcliffe Memorial Scholarship:
Awarded to a U.S. citizen majoring in Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or Agriculture Studies with a GPA of 2.5 or higher with at least two semesters remaining.
Niles D. Westby Scholarship:
Awarded to a sophomore, junior or senior student majoring in agricultural economics. The award may be continued until such student has completed four years, if the scholarship committee so decides. To be eligible, the student must be in the upper 25 percent of their class.
Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association Scholarship :
Awarded to a junior or senior majoring in Agricultural Business, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Agricultural Studies, Biotechnology, Crops and Soils, Food Science and Technology, Horticulture or Marketing Communications. Student must be in good academic standing. Preference given to a student who has been personally involved or has immediate family members who are involved in the production and/or processing of cranberries as an agronomic crop. Please note in the biography section of your application if your family is involved in the production and/or processing of cranberries.
