ENROLLMENT STATUS

All questions or concerns about the amount of aid and/or reduction of aid due to a change in enrollment or withdrawal should be directed to the Office of Financial Assistance.

All financial aid awards are based on an assumption of full-time attendance. (12 credits undergraduate and 8 credits graduate). Courses which are audited do not count towards your enrollment status for financial aid purposes. Students who drop below fulltime status prior to the conclusion of late registration will have their assistance prorated in the following manner:

  • State Aid: 100% reduction below six credits
  • Federal Aid: 100% reduction below six credits
  • Pell Grant: 25% reduction to nine credits; 50% reduction to six credits; 100% reduction below six credits
  • Institutional Aid: Depends upon program requirements.

Indicate the number of credits for which you plan to enroll for each semester on the award letter. Any status changes occurring during the add/drop period at the beginning of each semester could result in a delay in the disbursement of your financial aid. Adjustments will not be made on the spot. It is important to notify us about changes in your enrollment status at the time you submit your award letter for processing.
