UWRF RACE AND ETHNICITY GRANT

PROPOSAL GUIDELINES/APPLICATION FORM


Purpose: The purpose of this program is to enhance student and faculty awareness of issues related to race and ethnicity.
Evaluation of Proposals:
1. Proposals will be evaluated by the University-wide Initiatives subcommittee of the Faculty Academic Staff Development Board
2. Evaluation criteria include: breadth of impact, extent of impact on the UWRF campus, cost-effectiveness, budget appropriateness, feasibility, written clarity and completeness of the proposal.
3. Proposers may be asked to provide additional details and explanation or to revise their proposals.
4. Proposals are due Feb. 15th each spring. Funding will be allocated as soon as proposals are approved. Funding depends on the availability of funds, which are renewed on July 1st.

2. Proposal

a. Title

b. Description of the project including a statement of anticipated campus impact mechanically printed, double spaced, 2 page maximum

c. Proposed budget

1 page maximum with a brief justification


The application form is available here as a "fill in" MS Word form. You must use this form to apply for funds. Download the form, fill in the gray boxes with the relevant information, print the form and submit seven copies of your application to the Director of Faculty and Student Academic Support Programs, 104 North Hall.
