UWRF INSTITUTIONAL ENHANCEMENT GRANTS GUIDELINES
*Funding Contingent upon UW System Allocation of Resources


 

Purpose: The UWRF Institutional Enhancement Grant process is dedicated to the concept of all-University cooperative endeavors. Priority is given to those projects which will affect a large proportion of our UWRF learning community. This is a competitive grant process for individuals, committees, departments, units, or colleges to develop programmatic workshops or conferences, thematic curricular initiatives, utilize external consultants, or a variety of other options for faculty and staff development.

Proposals in all areas and disciplines are welcome. All proposals will be considered on their merits, reviewed by the University Wide Initiatives Committee of the FASDB. The following review criteria will be considered:

  • Impact on UWRF Long Range Strategic Plan Goals.
  • Number of faculty/staff members involved and participating.
  • Range of disciplines to be affected.
  • Impact on students.
  • Benefit of the project to the campus community.
  • Appropriateness of the project's evaluation procedures.
  • Potential for continuation of the project beyond the duration of the grant.
  • Quality of proposal in comparison to other proposals that were submitted.
 
Proposals must include the following (Limit of 5 pages):
  • Completed cover page
  • Background or problem statement
  • Project description
  • Impact on Strategic Plan Goals
  • Impact on students, faculty and staff
  • Assessment procedures
  • Schedule
  • Budget Narrative
 

The cover sheet available here as a "fill in" MS Word form. You must use this form to apply for funds. Download the form, fill in the gray boxes with the relevant information, print the form and submit seven copies of your application to the Director of Faculty and Student Academic Support Programs, 104 North Hall.
