IMPROVEMENT OF CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION GRANTS GUIDELINES and FORMS |
|
| 1. The purpose of the Foundation Funded Improvement of Classroom Instruction Grants is to support faculty and teaching academic staff in their classroom endeavors. | |
|
2. The following restrictions apply to this grant: (a) the grant will not be used to pay faculty salaries; (b) the grant will not be used to fund major equipment investments; (c) requests for travel funds must CLEARLY show an impact on the improvement of classroom instruction; (d) there is a limit of $750.00 per grant. |

| 3. All proposals will be evaluated by the Teaching Committee which is housed within the Faculty and Academic Staff Development Board. | |
| 4. Cover sheet must be completed with the signature of the dean of the college or the appropriate administrative supervisor. | |
| 5. Complete cover sheet, budget, and narrative. Narrative should describe the project and explain how it will improve classroom instruction. Narrative cannot exceed 3 pages. | |
| 6. Seven copies of the complete proposal must be forwarded to Director of Faculty and Student Academic Support Programs, 104 North Hall. | |
| 7. Upon completion of the project, a final report must be submitted to the Director of Faculty and Student Academic Support Programs' office indicating the way in which instruction was improved as a result of the funding. Past recipients of this grant program will not be considered for funding if a final report was not submitted. | |
| 8. All funds awarded must be expended by June 30th of the following year unless special arrangements are made with the Office of Faculty/Staff Development. | |

Download the form, fill in the gray boxes with the relevant information, print the form and submit seven copies of your application to the Director of Faculty and Student Academic Support Programs, 104 North Hall. |
