Residence hall printing allows everyone to print directly from their room, the residence hall labs, or anywhere on campus to the printer in the lobby of any of the ten residence halls.

Printing can be accomplished in one of three simple ways. You may print from a residence hall computer lab, from the web, or from any application on your computer.

Retrieving your print job from the printer is easy, just follow these steps.

Printing from the Web

To print from the web go to the residence hall printing website and follow these easy steps.

Login with your campus username and password.(For example, W2500000)

Select the printer on campus you wish to print to.

Click Browse and locate the document you wish to print or type the URL of the webpage you wish to print. Enter your desired number of copies and page numbers

If you wish to set any optional custom page settings, you may do so here.

To print from your computer, you will be required to install printer software called PrintWhere, which is available for free online. Once you have the software installed, please run the softare and follow the steps below.

Type UWRF into the search box located at the top of the application window and click search. Double click the printer you wish to print to.

If you wish to use the printer you have selected, click Select.

Upon printing a document you will be asked to approve your requested job. Enter your W number for a release code and click Approve.

Retrieving a print job

Once you have submitted a print job, retrieving it is simple.

Enter your release code (Your W number) and click Find.

Put a checkmark in the jobs you wish to print and press the print button. When you are done, click Logout.
