Maintaining Your Falcon AccountFalcon Account Maintenance StepsThe following information will give you a preview of the steps you will go through if you need to maintain your Falcon Account. The items you can change are listed below:
Step 1: IdentifyFirst, use your web browser (such as Internet Explorer) to go to the Falcon Account Administration tool.
If you need to log in to Falcon Account Activation (FAA) to change your password or security question, you will need to know the following 3 pieces of information:
Click "Next" after you have filled in this information to log in. Step 2a: Verify your account
Type in the answer to your Falcon Account security question. Please remember that the answer to your Falcon Account security question is case sensitive! If you have forgotten this password, you cannot reset it, you MUST contact the Helpdesk or call 715-425-4357 Step 2b: Re-Accept the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) If Necessary
You will be asked if you want to accept the Acceptable Use Policy again.
You can click "Yes" to read and accept the AUP again or click "No" to move on without re-accepting the AUP. You will be prompted once a year to do so. Step 3: Change Your Falcon Account Security Question If You Wish
You will be given the opportunity to change your Falcon Account security question and answer. If you would like to have a new Falcon Account security question, type the new question in the "Question:" box. Then type a new answer for your question in both the "Answer:" and "Retype Answer:" boxes and click Next. Click on "Skip" if you do not want to change your security question at this time.
You will need to confirm your security question and answer. Click "Next" to confirm and move to the next step of Falcon Account activation.
Step 4: Change Your Falcon Account Password If You Wish
You will be give the opportunity to change your Falcon Account password. If you change this password, it affects all the resources listed above that you have access to. If you do not wish to change your Falcon Account password, simply click the "Skip" button. To reset your Falcon Account password, pick a new password from the randomly generated list. The list displays a password pronunciation next to your password which may make it easier for you to remember your password.
If you don't see a password you like on the randomly generated list, click on the "New List" button to generate a new list to choose a password from. Highlight the new Falcon Account password you want, then click "Next" to verify your choice. You will see a password confirmation screen that will display your new Falcon Account password and the pronunciation of your new Falcon Account password.
Click "Next" after you have committed your new Falcon Account password to memory. Step 5: Finish
You will see a couple of gray boxes that will summarize any changes you have made to your Falcon Account.
Your name, Falcon Account Username, UWRF email address and your Personal Web Page address will be displayed for your information. You have completed any changes. |
