Vera Moss, 1968
Miss Vera Moss, professor of English, recieved the Distinguished Teacher Award during Honrs Day last May. The annual award is presented to a faculty member selected by graduates and students at River Falls. It carries a financial award of $500 presented by the Johnson Foundation of Racine. Miss Moss has been on the University staff since 1932. She came to River Falls from Michigan where she attended Western Michigan State and the Universityof Michigan. Prior to becoming a faculty member at River Falls, she was on the staff at Western Michigan College. The award was presented to professor Moss by Interim President R. J. Delorit who recalled his own experiences as a student of the award winner.
