About Discover U

Discover U provides opportunities to explore fun and fascinating topics in a university environment. The program is open to all kids and teens who will be entering grades 4 through 9 in the fall of 2008. Classes are taught by university faculty and other specially selected instructors. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9am to 12 noon. Join us for one or both weeks.

Fees, Payment and Scholarship Information

Fees and Payment
Each Discover U class is $125* and covers all materials and supplies. (*The fee for Online Design is $249 - meets for two-weeks.)
Full payment must accompany registration. Pay with Visa or Master Card, or by check. Make checks payable to UW-River Falls.

Scholarships
Students currently receiving free or reduced lunches may apply to Wisconsin DPI for “pre-college” tuition scholarships. For scholarship information, or to apply, contact Cynthia Wells-O'Malley by phone at (715) 425-3261 or by email to: cynthia.wells-omalley@uwrf.edu.
