2009-2010 Theatre Season

Urinetown

Director: Jim Zimmerman

Show Dates: October 22-24, 29-31

Urinetown is a comedic tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a Gothem-like city. When water is worth its weight in gold and the government enforces a ban on private toilets, a single malevolent company profits by charging the citizens to use public amenities until a hero arises to lead them all to freedom. Inspired by the works of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, Urinetown is an irreverently humorous satire in which no one is safe from scrutiny.
