Services

The Iota Beta Cast strive to "Seek a Life Useful" by providing service and outreach to others. Our service includes:

  • Outreach: Members of the Iota Beta Cast meet high school students in the area to share their talents and interests within the secondary education area. Last year we met with a class from Hudson to share warm up exercises and characterization techniques. This coming year we hope to meet more students within the area.
  • Strengthening Communication: Our members are looking for new ways to meet people who are interested in theatre, including current theatre majors who may not be as involved as they would like to be.
  • Rocky Horror Picture Show: Actors re-enact the movies scenes and choreography for a fun-filled night of Rocky Horror Madness.
  • Archiving the Past and Present: The Cast recently took funding from their organization to update award plaques that are displayed in the Green Room, added new photo's and frames to KFA 119, and are looking to update the old photos as well. This year the hope is to update the lobby display case as well.
  • KCACTF: The Iota Beta Cast will be planning the week long trip during the Fall Semester. Planning includes transportation, lodging, and registration.

How to Join?

Membership into the Honor Society is based on theatrical merit exhibited during the year. Hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude are all considered when recruiting new members. Can you "Seek a Life Useful"?
