All application materials must be postmarked by February 1st. If you are interested in the school counseling program (a separate program within the department), please link to the school counseling application process page.

  • Application fee of $56.00
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are not required, but will be considered if available.

Application form, fee, and all other materials must be postmarked by February 1 for fall admission to the program. Incomplete files will not be considered.

NOTE: A comprehensive background check and criminal history will be collected from all applicants accepted into the program, prior to official entrance into the program.

Please send the above information to:
THE GRADUATE STUDIES OFFICE
University of Wisconsin - River Falls
410 South Third Street
River Falls, WI 54022-5001

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure her/his file is complete by the deadline, FEBRUARY 1st. All materials MUST BE postmarked by February 1st.

You are responsible for checking the status of your application file, prior to FEBRUARY 1st, by contacting the Graduate Studies Office at (715)425-3843. Only completed files will be considered for admission. Due to the high volume of files overall, and the numbers of incomplete files that typically result, we do not make any exceptions to this rule, even if only one component of the application is not postmarked by February 1st. Please, be sure to check the status of your file frequently.
