UWRF women's lax is an equal opportunity organization. Each member who joins the team is guaranteed fun and playing time no matter what skill level or amount of experience they have had with the sport. No person is denied membership in the club. This club was formed to provide an opportunity for new players to the sport and former players to play in an organized league and learn the fastest growing sport in America. In the spring of 2005 UWRF campus started a Men’s team. The Women's team has been around for a few years. We practice 3-4 times per week in the spring and 2-3 times a week in the winter, practice will be scheduled around work and class schedules. We play in tournaments in the spring which we travel to and one which we might host. This year Harrow Sports is helping us out with a small sponsorship. We fundraise to cut down on cost of equipment and league fees. The school does provide us with some money.
