Food Science Club

Adviser: Bonnie Walters

Description: The Food Science Club is an organization on the UWRF campus inviting any students interested in Food Science, any majors welcome. As a club, members can help out with the Minnesota FFA judging contest, attend meetings for the Minnesota Institute of Food Technologists, tour different food companies, and participate in a variety of activities offered for the entire campus. For a club fundraiser the club has smoked turkeys. We purchase the turkeys from a local company and smoke them ourselves, a good learning experience. The Food Science Club is a great organization to meet new people and create friends.

Meeting Time: Every other Monday 5:40 p.m.
