Clipboard Operations

Although you are probably familiar with the clipboard operations Cut, Copy, and Paste, they are described below.

This release supports the following for authoring in CommonSpot:

The latest version of Chrome does not support automatic download and installation of a clipboard helper for cut, copy, and paste operations in CommonSpot. For security reasons Firefox 17 ESR does not include programmatic clipboard access. The following conditions apply:

Note for IIS sites: IIS will not serve the Chrome extension by default. To enable automatic service of \commonspot\dhtmledit\paperthin_chrome_extension.crx from your server to your contributors, you must first register the Chrome extension MIME type application/x-chrome-extension (crx) with the IIS server (and restart IIS).
