Email Notification

CommonSpot can be configured to send automatic and site-specific email notifications for content approval, freshness reminders, scheduled or real-time replication errors, userID and password assignments, and other events. Users can easily send email to specific groups defined in CommonSpot (see Group Members).

To enable CommonSpot email messaging, set up email notification with the appropriate administrator and SMTP mail server address. CommonSpot supports both TLS and SSL for secure email transmission.
