What majors does CAFES offer?
Quite a few! In fact our majors range from those focusing on traditional agricultural subjects to environmental science, marketing, geology and horticulture.
How much is this going to cost?
River Falls has the reputation of being quite affordable, but not at the cost of quality.
Do you offer any scholarships?
Yes, every year we have an awards banquet when we distribute about $60,000 in scholarships and awards.
How and when can we come and visit you?
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls, located in the scenic St. Croix River Valley, is 45 minutes east of Minneapolis-St Paul. Arrangements for campus visits can be made through our Admissions Office.
Is the teaching at River Falls any good?
Yes. Our faculty are devoted to excellence in undergraduate education; many faculty members have been honored with outside recognition of their teaching expertise.
Are there any international opportunities?
You bet! We have programs to Mexico, Scotland, France and many other places. Check out our International Programs page.
What are the facilities like in your departments?
The lab facilities are quite well equipped, but we are always working to improve.
Are there living facilities on campus?

Are there any clubs for me to join on campus?
We have quite a list of CAFES clubs and campus-wide Student Organizations. Also, check out the University Center.
Are there any activities - beyond classes - I can be involved in?
Student Life offers athletics, intramural sports, internships, field trips, clubs, the list is long and the opportunities are spread across campus.
What are my career prospects after I graduate from UWRF?
