Bob Docherty
Q: How has camp been so far?
A: It just started. So far it hasn't been bad. We've just had meetings and a quick practice today. I didn't get too many reps because they wanted to get the veterans in to get them warmed up and everything. It's been good so far.
Q: Where do you see yourself fitting in on the depth chart? Tight end? Special teams?
A: I don't know, it's so early. Right now I am just doing my best and everything will fall into place. Whatever happens will happen.
Q: How do you feel Div. III UW-Oshkosh prepared you for training camp in the NFL?
A: Pretty good. This definitely is not the same state I left three days ago; it is a lot hotter. I was prepared well. It's nice to come to River Falls and see the facilities and see how nice it has gotten over the years.
Q: Is your family coming up to see you?
A: Yes, they are coming up for Family Fun night (on Saturday).
Q: What do you do in your time off between practice and meetings?
A: During the little time off we've had I walked to the ATM and got some money.
Q: How do you like getting to live in the dorms again?
A: Ha, it is nice. There is air conditioning unlike college so it is a big step up.
Q: Is this the first time you have been to River Falls?
A: No, it is the second. I came here for a football camp when I was younger.
Q: What would you say the best aspect of your game would be?
A: I really don't know. Right now I am working on so much, it's hard to tell or pinpoint anything.
Q: Did you always know you wanted to be a tight end?
A: Oh yeah.
Q: What is the biggest thing you want to take away from camp?
A: Just learn the playbook and feel confident in everything I am doing. |
