Welcome back to the 2004 Family Fun Night for the Kansas City Chiefs
Summer Training Camp on Tuesday evening, Aug. 17 at the Ramer Field
Sports Complex.
From refreshments and music to autograph sessions and parachuters,
the evening promises to be fun for everyone.
Family Fun Night is a special way for the Chiefs to say "thank
you" to all their fans, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls
and the River Falls community who help support them while they make
their summer home on campus.
Fans will have an opportunity to get up close and personal with
their favorite players. Take pictures of the team and the coaching
staff and be sure to bring football cards, pennants, footballs,
jerseys, t-shirts and other memorabilia for the players to sign.
The Indianhead Sport Parachute Club from Baldwin, Wis., will again
make their exciting descent from the sky to the practice fields
before the autograph session.
Head Coach Dick Vermeil and President Carl Peterson will address
the fans in special speeches. Gov. James Doyle has been invited.
Other notable attendees include Sen. Sheila Harsdorf (R-River Falls),
Rep. Kitty Rhodes (R-Hudson), Rep. Mark Pettis (R-Hertel), and Rep.
Joe Plouff (D-Menomonie).
Gates open at 4 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and free to children
under 18.

the 7:20 p.m. practice under the lights.
