Before Turning Computer and Projector on:
- Laptop should be within 3-4 feet of projector.
- All cords between projector and laptop
must be attached before laptop and projector are turned
on. (Follow color coding for all connections).
- To use the computer's pointing device,
you have three options:
- Using the finger pad on the laptop (not
recommended)
- Using the laptop's mouse and mouse pad
(!Recommended!).
- Using the projector's remote-controlled
mouse. (use the green color-coded cable to use this (notice
that the "C" end connects to the Computer, and
the "P" end connects to the Projector)).
- If you are using the Projector's overhead,
connect it also.
- If you will be connecting to the internet,
connect the ethernet cord to an ethernet outlet. For ethernet
outlet to appear, press on rectangular button (ethernet
connector on laptop is bottom of 2 connectors on the laptop's
right-hand side.
Turn Computer on:
- If you are not connected to an ethernet
jack, you will be asked to press the "F1" key
to continue logging into Windows 98.
Turn Projector on:
- Remove cover from front of projector.
- Once the laptop's desktop appears, turn
on the projector (right side of projector). It will initiate
in "standby" mode.
- Press the round "STANDBY/ON"
button on top of the projector (its light will turn green).
- If an image does not appear, press the
"Input" button slowly 1-2 times (There
are 3 inputs modes.2 for computer hookups, and 1 for VCR/Cam/TV
hookups. By pressing the "Input" button, you are
cycling through these modes).
- If using the overhead Cam/Projector, press
its on button near its camera head.
Repackaging Laptop and Projector:
To ensure longevity of cords, please use rubber
bands to package them.
Laptop Bag Contents: Zip Drive, Ethernet
cord, Power cord, Mouse and Mouse pad.
Projector Bag Contents: Multi-plugin,
Power cord, Connector cord (to/from computer & laptop),
PS/2 cord (to/from computer & laptop), Cam/Overhead, Cam/Overhead
cord & plugin.
