The butterfly was our choice as the volunteer logo for many different reasons.  The butterfly symbolizes action, service, health, intelligence, creativity, vision and connection. While thinking about the mission of these volunteer web pages, the butterfly seemed like the perfect symbol  Butterflies are always in motion, with a lot of life and energy flowing through them.  They are active, and not afraid of change.  Volunteers have all of these qualities, and they do make a difference!!
