Bachelor of Science - Marketing Communications
The interdisciplinary Marketing Communications major integrates the activities of advertising, public relations, sales promotion, direct marketing and personal selling into a single professional field of expertise. Students develop knowledge and skills in oral, written, and visual modes of communication. Practical experience with current technology tools and a required internship program ensure that students have not only strong academic preparation, but also practical experience in marketing communications.
Bachelor of Science - Journalism (News Editorial Emphasis)
Part of the UWRF College of Arts and Sciences, the Journalism department is one of 108 programs accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications. Experienced and knowledgeable faculty, small class sizes and modern facilities make River Falls an excellent environment in which to pursue a degree in journalism. The News Editorial emphasis provides knowledge and experience in for print media.
University Honors
Superior scholarship is recognized by the awarding of Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Honors to students who maintain an overall GPA of 3.5 with no F's, outstanding incompletes or repeat grades on their academic record.

Dean's List
Superior scholarship is recognized at the completion of Fall & Spring terms by the publication of the Dean's List. Students must complete a minimum of 12 credits, receive a minimum term GPA of 3.5, and have no F's, outstanding incompletes or repeat grades during the academic term.
