Dr. Benson has a doctorate in business administration in organizational behavior with a minor in cultural anthropology.  Dr. Benson’s professional experience was as a Director of Administration with a not-for-profit organization.  Her expertise continues to be applied with 501c3 animal rescue organizations.

Research Interests

Pedagogical writing focuses on 1) strategic and integrative thinking, 2) signature pedagogies related to teams and leadership, and 3) using MBTI preferences in designing learning experiences.  Non-pedagogical research focuses on decision making, teams, and leadership.
