Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences at UW-River Falls!

The College of Arts and Sciences provides degree programs in the Humanities and Fine Arts (Art, English, Modern Language, Music, Communication Studies, Theatre Arts), the Sciences and Mathematics (Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics) and the Social and Behavioral Sciences (Geography-Mapping Sciences, History-Philosophy, Journalism, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology-Anthropology-Criminal Justice).

Interdisciplinary Program majors are offered in Marketing Communications, Biotechnology and International studies and Interdisciplinary minors are offered in Ethnic Studies, Film Studies and Women's and Gender Studies.

The college supports Pre-Professional Programs in a number of areas including Pre-Engineering, Pre-Law, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Veterinary Medicine. The College of Arts and Sciences is also a key player in UWRF's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Program.

The college provides high school and middle school teacher certification in art, English, modern language, music, communication studies, biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, history and philosophy, broad field social studies, broad field science, and international studies.

The College of Arts and Sciences also provides the basis for a solid general education program for all UWRF students regardless of their areas of specialization.
