Q. Can I get off-campus access to Going Global?
A. Yes. To do so, you must visit the Going Global web site from any on-campus computer, then create an account. You will then be able to access Going Global from off-campus using your new account.

Q. Are non-profit companies included in Going Global?
A. They are not included in the Global Key Employer Directory, however there may be some in the Daily Job Postings as this comes from a much larger variety of companies.

Q. How are the companies selected for each country? Do the companies pay to be represented in the software, or is it a comprehensive list of all the companies within each country?
A. We license the GKED from Thomson-Gale, one of the largest and most reputable resources for this type of information in the world...and one of the very few that have detailed international corporate information. They complete all of the research to select corporate listings of leading local and multinational employers in 31 countries. Over 25,000 listings have been specially selected to reflect companies where professional opportunities are more likely to be available.

Q. Where do jobs in the "Daily Job Postings" come from?
A. Going Global has a contract with a private company that collects all of this data.
