Biology 444 Ornithology 2007
           

This course emphasizes field identification, research, and management of migratory and nonmigratory birds. Laboratory activities include anatomical studies and field trips to local habitats. Students will conduct independent research and compile a web page summarizing scientific observations made on birds throughout the semester. A course fee is required. Prerequisite: Biology 230. At least one course in statistics is recommended but not required.
