BELIZE

RAINFOREST AND REEF: THE CONSERVATION
OF CULTURAL AND BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
This international study tour is open to all students with a minimum GPA of 2.25 (or permission of the instructor). Students receive 3 credits for participating in the program by registering for SOC 395 or ANTH 395. The study tour is expected to satisfy UWRF's global perspective requirement.

Participation in the Belize Study Tour requires an openness to adventure, challenge, and diversity. We are seeking students who have the desire to learn about Belize culture, history, wildlife, and the policy issues regarding conservation of Belize's natural resources. Students must be in a good state of health and fitness for activities require hiking, climbing and swimming.

COST
The estimated cost for the Belize Study Tour is $2,580. Costs not included are international program fee, insurance, passport, medical and personal expenses, some meals, and optional activities. Students may qualify for financial aid, contact the Office of Financial Assistance.
