ART DEPARTMENT SCHOLARSHIPS 2008 - 2009

William and Suzanne Ammerman Art Scholarship - 2 @ $1,500

Awarded to Art majors who have completed the freshman year and have shown creativity and dedication through their artwork and academic classes.

Art Department Student/Faculty Coalition Scholarship - Variable Amounts

Awarded to Art majors on the basis of academic excellence in the major who have completed at least one year at UWRF.

James & Virginia Johnson Ceramics Scholarship - 2 @ $1,000

Awarded to a ceramic arts major selected by studio arts faculty.

J. Bernard McLaughlin Memorial Scholarship - 1 @ $250

Granted to a sophomore or junior Art major who has earned 18 credits in Art at UWRF with a minimum GPA of 3.25 in Art courses.

Walter & Lee Nottingham Scholarship - 1 @ $200

Awarded to an Art major for the junior or senior year, based upon academic excellence, creativity, and financial need.

Kurt & Ruth Wild Scholarship - 2 @ $500

Awarded to an outstanding Art major for the junior or senior year, based upon academic excellence, creativity, and potential.

Walker D. & Helen Bryant Wyman Scholarship - 1 @ $1,000

Based upon academic excellence in the major, awarded to a student who has completed at least one full year of study at UWRF. Potential for success and financial need may also be factors.

Mary L. Barrett Scholarship - 1 @ $1,000.00

For worthy and creative students majoring in any area of art and continuing as a sophomore, junior or senior student.
