Giving Opportunities

Thank you for considering a gift that will help educate the next generation of University of Wisconsin-River Falls students. We are very grateful for your support.

The UW-River Falls Foundation’s fiscal year is ending June 30, 2008.  In order to be recognized in our 2007-08 Donor Honor Roll, your contribution will need to be received in our office by 3:00 p.m. CDT on Monday, June 30, 2008. You may make your contribution in one of the following ways:

Cash Gift

Please complete the gift commitment form (see below) and send it to our office. Your check should be made payable to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Foundation.

Credit Card Gift
Credit card gifts must be made before 3:00 p.m. CDT on Monday, June 30, 2008

The UW-River Falls Foundation is pleased to accept credit card gifts. There are three options for making a gift:
1- Online giving, please click on the blue mouse to the right.
2- Print and complete the gift commitment form above and send it to the UWRF Foundation Office.
3- Call the UWRF Foundation Office Toll Free at 877-258-6647 and make your credit card gift over the phone. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

Set Up a Monthly Automatic Electronic Fund Transfer

Our electronic funds transfer program is a convenient and easy way to contribute over time on a monthly basis. Simply complete the authorization form and mail it to the UWRF Foundation Office.

Securities and Stock Gift
Please arrange to have the stock transferred to the UW-River Falls Foundation, Inc. account by June 30, 2008.

Securities gifts are an advantageous way of making a charitable contribution that may positively affect financial, tax, and estate plans. To make a gift of securities or stock, contact the UW-River Falls Foundation or follow the link for stock transfer information. Stock Transfer

Matching Gift

If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, please remember to request a matching gift application from your company’s human resources office, fill it out and send it to the UW-River Falls Foundation.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Many alumni and friends make a gift in memory of someone close to them or at a time of recognition and tribute. UW-River Falls Foundation staff will work with you to honor that special person in a meaningful way.

Designating the Use of Your Gift

Your contribution may be designated to the annual fund, which provides assistance for the University’s highest priorities and enhance student life experiences. Your contribution may also be designated to the college, department or program of your choice and used in the classroom, the laboratory, or on the playing field. Please indicate your designation when you make your contribution.

Faculty and Staff Gifts

Faculty and staff make an enormous difference by generously supporting all of the colleges, departments, and programs, as well as the annual fund. Every faculty and staff gift, whatever the size, makes a positive impact.

Recognizing our Donors

The UW-River Falls Foundation is extremely grateful to the donors who support the University at annual leadership levels and through planned gifts. Special donor recognition listings are included in publications annually.

Gifts as Part of Your Estate and Financial Plans

Alumni and friends make generous arrangements in their estate and financial plans to support the University’s colleges, departments, and programs. Foundation staff is available to confidentially visit about gifts of real estate, personal property, bequests, and life income gifts.
