2009 Summer Ag in the Classroom Workshops for EducatorsWisconsin Ag in the Classroom and University of Wisconsin-River Falls are offering two sessions of grauate courses or in-service opportunities for teachers interested in incorporating agriculture into their K-12 curriculum. If you'd like to take the class for graduate credit...You will find course, application, and registration information on the UWRF Ag Education web site: http://www.uwrf.edu/ag-education/Graduate/summer/ If you don't need to take the class for graduate credit...You can simply register for the class by sending in the registration form and check to Wisconsin Farm Bureau. Registration form link: http://www.wisagclassroom.org/teachers/workshops.php CostGraduate credit: $357.02 In-service only: $50 The cost includes all class materials, lunch and snacks, and the resources that you will take home! If you need to have verification of attendance for your district, we can provide a letter for you. Madison - Thursday, July 2Location: West Madison Agricultural Research Station There will be an emphasis at this class on school gardens and horticulture as teachers will be using the outdoor garden plots as part the instruction.
