Field Experience Requirements
For this course you will be required to complete at least 30 hours interacting with students in a public school agricultural education program. Those taking the class in the spring have the option of completing these hours during January. The following process must be followed (failure to complete each step will mean that any hours will NOT count and will have to be repeated).
- Email Dr. Buttles with the name of the school and teacher where you want to go.
- Dr. Buttles replies with a Yes/No. If No, go back to step 1.
- Contact the teacher, explain the requirement, and ask if it will be OK to work with her/him.
- The teacher sends a FAX or email to Dr. Buttles confirming that it is OK.
- Schedule your first visit
