Admission Procedures for International Students

Please follow these steps to apply for Undergraduate Admission:

1. Complete the International Student Application for Undergraduate. You can find the application on-line or, you may print and mail the application form and the Confidential Report for Admission to the address below.

2. Pay the Application Fee. Pay the $44 application fee by credit card when using the on-line application, or send your $44 payment via certified bank check or money order along with your application.

3. Submit your Academic Records. River Falls requires official copies of academic records from all secondary schools, colleges and universities you have attended, including those in the United States. Official records should include all exam results, transcripts/marks, certificates, diplomas or degrees received. These documents should be sent directly to River Falls from the institutions attended. All documents must have a certified English translation.

To receive credit for courses that you have taken at another college or university outside the United States, you should submit your academic records to a professional evaluation service for review. River Falls recommends one of the following evaluation services:

Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE)
World Education Services (WES)

The report from the evaluation service should be sent directly to River Falls.

4. Submit English language proficiency information. Please review the English Language Proficiency Information.

5. Provide evidence of financial support. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations require that international applicants provide proof that they have the financial resources to support their studies in the United States. You must complete the Confidential Statement of Financial Resources and submit it to River Falls. If you are receiving support from your government or a sponsoring agency, you should send official documentation showing the amount of expenses that will be covered and the duration of support. If you will be financially supported by your family or private sponsors, you should submit bank statements to verify the funds available. River Falls has little financial assistance for new international students and there is no assurance of financial assistance or employment while studying at River Falls.
