Sub-topic: Maintaining Course Syllabi

A. The Dean of each College will maintain current, approved syllabi for

1. All courses identified in the University catalog and a copy of the Transmittal of Undergraduate Curriculum Proposal with the appropriate signatures.
2. Syllabi withdrawn from the catalog because they cannot be immediately offered but are still maintained by the departments.
3. Syllabi dropped permanently from the catalog


B. The Dean of each College will maintain an annual log of curriculum activity: actions taken in the approval process by each committee and the dates of such actions.

C. Graduate Course Syllabi are approved by the Graduate Council and maintained by the Graduate School. A log of curricular actions is also maintained.

D. The office of the Provost/Vice Chancellor will receive and maintain a file of the original signature form for all undergraduate and graduate curriculum transactions including course approvals and substantial changes.
