Class Schedule Policy: Date December 29, 1995, from Robert L. Milam, Provost & Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
- All 3-credit lecture courses scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday must meet for three, fifty minute periods in the standard time blocks beginning on the hour.
- All Tuesday-Thursday, 3 credits lecture courses scheduled to begin between 8:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. must be offered in the standard time blocks.
- Overall, courses should be scheduled in such a manner as to pose minimum disruption in the standard scheduling time blocks, e.g., a 2 credit course cannot be scheduled on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Each department should schedule a minimum of 10% of its offerings at 8:00am and 10% at 3:00 p.m. or later.
- All classes should be scheduled in the classroom after considering the size of the class and the capacity of the classroom, e.g. small classes in small classrooms, etc.
