eSIS QuikPay® FAQ

UWRF Accounts Receivable is introducing a new online system, eSIS QuikPAY®, after November 20, 2007 that allows students and authorized third parties to view and print tuition bills, make payments to student accounts online, and sign up for direct deposit of refunds.

What is eSIS QuikPAY®?

eSIS QuikPAY® is an online system that gives students access to their UWRF student account activity and billing statements with the option to make online payments. Direct deposit of financial aid refunds, including Parent Plus loans, is another feature. eSIS QuikPAY® also gives students the ability to grant access to parents or others who need billing information or would like to make online payments.

eSIS QuikPAY® combines student billing information from UWRF's eSIS system with the technologies of QuikPAY®, a product of Nelnet Business Solutions. UWRF has partnered with Nelnet Business Solutions to provide students with online billing and payment features not found in eSIS.

 

What does eSIS QuikPAY® offer that eSIS does not?

eSIS QuikPAY® provides:

• Electronic billing with email notification when bills are available.
• Direct deposit of financial aid and student account refunds, including Parent Plus loans
• Email notification of refund direct deposits
• Individual account access for parents to view their student's bill and account activity, make online payments, and receive email notification when bills are available
• Current account activity plus billing statements stored online for up to 16 months provide easy to find transaction history.
• Discover and Mastercard credit cards as an online payment option (with a 2.75% convenience fee)
• Payment profile storage
• Electronic check payment scheduling for the partial payment plan
• Data security standard requirement outsourcing

 

What are the benefits to students for using eSIS QuikPAY®?

• Faster refunds of financial aid or student account credit balances – paper checks will take an additional day to process and will be mailed to your local or home addresses.
• Email notifications – you will get an email from accounts-receivable@uwrf.edu when a direct deposit refund is processed or a billing statement is available.
• Paperless – online payments don't require paper checks and are the preferred payment method at UWRF. Even if you mail in a check there is no need to print the bill to return a payment stub. Simply write your Falcon ID number on the memo line of the check.
• Immediate credit to your account for online payments – no payments delayed or lost in the mail.
• Save time and money with online payments – eliminates standing in line to pay at the Cashier's Office and no need to buy stamps to mail in payments. You'll be able to see the payment post to your account immediately.
• Don't need to share your eSIS account with Mom or Dad to get them access to your student account – you can give them their own access directly into eSIS QuikPAY® for viewing bills and making online payments.

 

How do I access eSIS QuikPAY®?

Students click on View & Pay Bill in the Finances section of your eSIS Student Center . By clicking on this link you will be transferred to the eSIS QuikPAY® site. Log out of eSIS QuikPAY® to return to eSIS.

Parents and Other Authorized Payers will receive email notification, which will include the link to eSIS QuikPAY® , after your student has provided you with your login name and password.

 

What else do I need to know about eSIS QuikPAY®?

Paper bills will be discontinued after January 2008. Only electronic bills will be sent. Students will be able to print a bill from eSIS QuikPAY® if a paper bill is required. Click here to see the UWRF Electronic Billing Policy .

All account activity will be viewed from eSIS QuikPAY® after November 20, 2007. You will not need to access Account Inquiry>Activities tab from within eSIS to see the details of your account, including refunds. Account activity can be viewed in eSIS QuikPAY® by selecting the View Account option.
