Free or Discounted Events

A recent conversation with Chancellor Van Galen prompted an email in which staff benefits were outlined, including the following note:
"As follow up to that conversation, I am pleased to inform you that beginning with the Spring Semester, the UW-River Falls University Theater will be offering two-for-one discounts for UWRF staff/faculty for their play performances. Additional details will be provided in Falcon Daily later this semester."
Existing Discounts:
Through the Division of Student Affairs, the university offers the following free and/or discounted services to faculty and staff:-
- Dining Services - Discounted $5.00 Fridays for faculty and staff dining in Riverside Commons (a savings of $2.18 or 31%)
- Falcon Dollars - Faculty who deposit funds on a Falcon Dollars account receive a 5% discount on food purchases
- CHILD Care Center - Faculty and Staff receive a discounted tuition rate
- Student Life

- Free Faculty/Staff attendance to the Wyman Series
- Free Faculty/Staff attendance at other concert, film, comedy, social justice programs
- Recreation and Sport Facilities - Discounted Faculty/Staff memberships, facility and equipment use rates
- Career Services - Access to free resume updating and job search/advancement assistance

- UWRF employees and their family will be admitted to any UWRF regular-season athletic event for $4 per person (1/2 of the $8 adult price) as long as they have their UWRF issued ID.
- An individual season pass to any and all athletic events may be purchased for $100. The value savings per season pass is 75% if one chose to attend every home athletic event at a retail cost of $400+ per year.
