UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
I've been an LTE with Outreach and Continuing Education for more than ten years, serving in different roles for a variety of programs. I enjoy the challenges of working with new programs, serving distance learners and nontraditional students, balancing multiple projects and tackling things that have never been done before – so Outreach has been a good fit! Prior to working at UWRF, I worked as a compliance manager for a finance company. I don't miss the commute, and appreciate working close to home.
I am an alumna of UWRF, with majors in journalism and biology. My husband and stepdaughter are alums of UWRF, too! I look back fondly on my time as a student of "Moo-U". I hosted radio shifts at WRFW, wrote news stories and a column in the Student Voice, spent a semester in Europe and had many other fantastic experiences. I enjoy giving back to the campus community, helping to provide meaningful experiences for current and future students.
When not at work, you might find me doing "mom-stuff" with my middle-schooler, digging in the garden, taking an exercise class, sewing, or walking a trail along the Kinnickinnic.
I was asked by a former CSAC member to consider serving on the Council. I look forward to meeting people, learning more about our institution and sharing the LTE perspective.
