The Fund for UW-River Falls, our unrestricted fund, is used to support the mission of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, to help students learn.
The unrestricted fund allows the UW-River Falls Foundation the flexibility to apply funds immediately to areas of greatest need. Typically, this includes faculty and student research grants, curriculum and technology upgrades, and supporting the admissions program to recruit a diverse group of outstanding students to campus. The Fund for UW-River Falls also supports the university magazine, Falcon Features, an avenue of communication that provides the most recent happenings on campus and alumni stories to UW-River Falls alumni and friends.
As the central fundraising organization for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, the Foundation provides central services to support fundraising, endowment growth, scholarship management, administration, compliance, donor stewardship, and other areas. The Fund for UW-River Falls assists in supporting the Foundation operating budget.
