UW-River Falls Alumni & Friends in the Waldo area and associated with the Wisconsin Eastern Shores Alumni Club (WESAC) are invited to attend a reception with Chancellor Dean Van Galen and fellow UWRF alumni for conversation, campus update and networking opportunities on Wednesday, June 5 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Chissy's Pub & Grill.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. the Philadelphia Phillies

Alumni and friends are invited to a fun-filled evening with the Milwaukee Brewers. A tailgate meal will precede the Brewers game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Our group tickets are reserved for the Dew Deck, located above the right-field bleachers. A pre-game buffet featuring brats, bbq chicken sandwiches, hamburgers and sides will begin when Miller Park gates open and will end one hour after the first pitch. The area has been newly remodeled for 2013. The signature addition is a 25-foot high rock climbing wall.

UWRF Alumni in Scotland Trip

For the last 26 years, more than 3,500 UWRF students have participated in the Wisconsin in Scotland program at Dalkeith Palace in Dalkeith,Scotland. By popular demand, UWRF and the UWRF Alumni Association are offering a week long opportunity for UWRF alumni and friends to visit Dalkeith Palace led by Chancellor Dean and Mary Van Galen. 

A ground only package is being offered by the university with participants responsible for separately reserving and paying for air transportation. The ground only package-including hotel accommodations, airport transfers from Edinburgh airport, morning breakfasts, most lunches, 3 dinners and day trip coach transportation -is expected to be $1,750 per person (depending on prevailing exchange rates in October 2013).
