Reedsburg Fermentation Fest Farm/Art Dtour Event: Survey Summary (2/January 2012)
In October 2011, Reedsburg, Wisconsin held its' annual Fermentation Fest. A component of the event in 2011 was a 50-mile tour (Dtour) through Sauk County of art installations, artist-built roadside culture stands, rural culture education sites, and pasture performances. To evaluate the impact of this event, the Survey Research Center (SRC) contacted Dtour participants (audience, artists, performers, landowners, and businesses) by email and mail in November and December 2011 and invited them to participate in a survey. Four surveys were created based on a participant's role in the Dtour. Information from the surveys are expected to provide feedback on the 2011 Dtour and guide future Dtour planning.
Dairy Safety Survey (8/May 2012)
This survey was designed to gather information about the safety practices of members of the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW) and their interest in professional development opportunities with respect to safety on dairy farms.
Wisconsin Quality Pork Business Survey Results Report (10/May 2011)
Bill Gnatzig, Steve Bach, and Lynn Harrison opted to work with the SRC to implement their Agriculture Development and Diversification project on improving the supply of quality hogs to Wisconsin's meat processors. In the first part of this study, the SRC surveyed members of the Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors (WAMP) and other, non-WAMP meat processors, about key hog supply issues they face. In a second part of the study, the SRC conducted two phone conferences with six processors from around the state.
Countywide Farmland Preservation and Park and Open Space Planning Public Opinion Survey of Ozaukee County Residents (22/December 2010)
The purpose of this study was to gather opinions from Ozaukee County residents concerning issues related to: farmland preservation, parks, recreation, natural areas, and open space preservation issues in the County.

Pierce County Farm Technology Days 2010: Economic Impact Report (16/August 2010)
The primary purposes of this survey were to:
- Gather information with which to estimate the economic impact of the Farm Technology Days (FTD) event on the economies of Pierce and St. Croix Counties,
- Discover what aspects of FTD were most frequently visited and found to be useful and interesting.
Wisconsin Winery/Cidery Survey (26/November 2008)
The survey sought information from producers of mead, wine made from grapes, and cider from apples, pears, and other fruit. The goal of the survey was to gather information about production, revenues, costs, and visitors at wineries and cideries in the state.
Wisconsin State Horse Council General Population Survey and Horse Owners' Survey Report (5/March 2008)
The goal of the General Population Survey was to estimate the number of households in the state that own at least one horse. The Horse Owners' Survey was designed to assess the economic impact horse owners have on the State's economy.
2006 Farmer Investment Survey (2006)
Surveys were sent out to Wisconsin farmers who had completed the 2004 Agricultural Resource Management Survey (ARMS). The survey attempts to understand how, why, and where Wisconsin farmers, as a group, are investing off the farm....(and) what sort of educational programs would help producers to set goals and invest more effectively.
