The Survey Research Center employs UW-River Falls students!

The SRC is looking for students to work throughout the academic year. Staff are responsible for processing mail surveys, assisting with web-based surveys, scanning and data entry, and a wide-variety of computer related tasks. The SRC looks for highly motivated, pleasant, and dedicated individuals to become part of our survey team. The SRC does not make sales calls or conduct telemarketing.

What do Student Assistants do?

Student Assistants conduct mailing preparation, data collection and statistical analysis (dependent on interest and expertise) for each survey project. 

 

Tasks Include:

  • Creating and affixing barcodes and mailing labels using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Affixing surveys and envelopes with mailing labels and barcodes.
  • Folding and stuffing envelopes.
  • Scanning in received and completed surveys.
  • Exporting information from scanning to run statistics and create data.
