To promote student awareness and understanding of their rights and responsibilities as members of the University community, the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR):
Addresses student conduct issues
Creates developmental learning opportunities
Engages students in ethical decision-making
OSRR Duties/Responsibilities
Administers the student code of conduct also known as the University of Wisconsin System code, Chapter 17, which governs students' on- and off-campus conduct
Receives, responds to and investigates complaints regarding student behavior on and off campus
Assists with medical withdrawals from the University and serves as a referral agent for various services both on and off campus
