What is the LEAD First-Year Leadership Program?

LEAD (Learn. Experience. Act. Develop.) is a first-year leadership program on campus for students interested in exploring their leadership potential, as well as making a positive social change in their community, whether on campus or off. Participants begin exploring their own strengths and concepts around leadership and think about ways they want to become an involved leader during their time at UW-River Falls.

LEAD is facilitated by Leadership Programmers & the Leadership and Training Coordinator. After each session students will gain a unique perspective into their values, strengths, and goals. Participants will be required to attend the LEAD Retreat on February 4-5, 2011, and weekly meetings on Wednesdays starting at 6 p.m.

Why Participate in LEAD?

  1. LEAD is all about you!
  2. You can earn a co-curricular leadership certificate
  3. You can meet other students on campus looking to make positive change at UWRF
