Fraternity and Sorority Life

Fraternity and Sorority Life is one of the many campus involvement opportunities at UW-River Falls. Greek letter organizations provide academic support for their members, friendship, social activities, community service, and philanthropic contributions. Students develop a strong sense of belonging to their organization and loyalty to UW-River Falls through the Greek Community. Membership is lifelong, and alumni activities are numerous.

Top 10 Facts about Greek Life

  1. We have FUN!! Greeks have tons of fun! Greeks maintain a balance between the classroom and personal time. Events such as formal dances, retreats, and sisterhood / brotherhood activities are just a few of the fun events planned.
  2. We network! Greeks are afforded networking opportunities through alumni for job assistance and advice, internship exposure, and general direction when entering the work force.
  3. We help others! Greek organizations are recognized for their philanthropic work and contributions.
  4. Women and men in sororities and fraternities maintain jobs and internships. Many receive financial aid and scholarships to help finance their college education.
